Winter Basketball

YBA Winter Basketball Practice and Games Grades K-1

Our YBA Winter Basketball program for kids in Kindergarten and First Grade provides a supportive and fun introduction to the game of basketball. Players will be involved in engaging activities that will help improve ball handling, dribbling, passing, and shooting. Towards the end of each practice, players will be given the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned.

This program will be on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm starting on December 1st going through February 22nd with the exclusion of the holiday and winter break.

YBA Winter Basketball League Grades 2-3

Our YBA Winter Basketball League provides players with a weekly Tuesday practice, either from 5:00-6:00 or 6:00-7:00, and a Saturday morning game always at 8:00 am.

Tuesdays will emphasize Dribbling, Shooting, and a special focus for each week. Players will get to showcase what they are learning during Saturday games. 

Our goal is to provide these fundamentals in an enjoyable environment, providing kids multiple opportunities to improve each week. 

We will start the first week of December and end by the last week in February, allowing for families to enjoy their holiday and winter break.

All players will receive a pinnie they will be expected to wear to practice and games.
