YBA - Basketball Summer League (9 Weeks) - Wednesday's 6:00-7:00 pm (6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20.)

For Boys and Girls Going into 2nd and 3rd Grade for the 2025-2026 School Year.

The goal of the YBA Basketball Summer League is to provide players an opportunity to improve foundational basketball skills and apply them in a game setting.

Each week we will spend the first fifteen minutes re-teaching a skill, ex. pass fakes, and then we will incentivize that skill during our (3) 15-minute games.

Games will be played on modified full courts to ensure more touches on the ball and a more active role with teammates.

Acknowledging that families will be on vacation occasionally, our teams will be re-created each week with the goal of parity of play.

Parents who can coach/officiate in our league will be given partial to full tuition reimbursement pending the amount of weeks they can attend.

Boys and Girls Grades 1-5

The YBA Basketball Camp focuses on providing your child with multiple opportunities to increase confidence in Dribbling, Passing, and Shooting. 

All players will have access to their own ball, we will utilize the space of the gym and the 17 available hoops to accelerate improvement.

Players will be instructed on the correct technical form for each and then apply these skills in fun drills.

Finally, during the last hour of each day, players will compete in small-sided games where they will be able to showcase what they learned in a team setting.
